Pedagogically, while traditional formative assessment tools have been reliable for educating young people, there is a wealth of technological tools which are intended to engage learners. Additionally, such tools are also valuable for supporting staff and administration in digital engagement initiatives. The workshop will highlight several tools, including 'Plickers,' 'Mentimeter,’ Miro,' and ‘Padlet.’ Furthermore, I will demonstrate how I have employed video podcasts to facilitate continuous learning and sustain active partnerships with families. Any remaining time within this workshop will be allocated to assist new and novice participants in developing their own resources using such tools.
